My name is Catherine Gates and I am a performer and teacher focused on providing high-quality teaching services to students in my Lakewood Ranch home studio, which also serves Sarasota and Manatee counties. I teach violin and viola to students ages 5 to adult using the Suzuki Method or traditional books of study, and also offer my services as a performer for various events in Sarasota and the surrounding area.  I began my teaching career in Maryland in 2005 and in 2021 renamed my studio when I moved to LWR!
